Community Singing Volunteer

 A choir practicing

We all know a good sing-a-long lifts the spirts and is great for our wellbeing.

Why not come along and volunteer in our choir, enabling people with disabilities to get involved and sing a few tunes. We are looking for volunteers who can set up the session and support members of the group to access it safely. No specific experience or singing ability needed!

People love to sing. Whether or not they can carry a tune, people seem to understand that there’s something positive — something healthy — in the act of raising their voices in song.

In fact, there’s solid scientific evidence to prove that singing is, in fact, good for your body and your mind.

As a Choir Buddy you might even pick up a few new songs yourself for singing in the shower!

(Term time only, from September). Sessions will end for Christmas break and begin again mid January.
