PMC at 60 Diamond Anniversary: 60 years of Printmaking

Print of London at sunset.

The Printmakers Council celebrates their 60th year by exhibiting a diverse selection of abstract, figurative and experimental work from well-known and emerging artists.

In 1965 a group of artists including Julian Trevelyan, Michael Rothenstein, Anthony Gross, Stanley Jones and Agatha Sorel saw the need for a society that would promote new developments within printmaking and formed the Printmakers Council. Since then it has consistently promoted the place of printmaking in the visual arts.

The Printmakers Council has organized exhibitions in the UK and internationally, and now we are delighted to celebrate our 60 year tradition with all-comers.
