In the second instalment of the series, we have been talking to Karen MacDonald who is the owner of Blomma Beauty. Blomma Beauty has just moved into our arty enclave, making them the first cosmetics store to open in Gabriel’s Wharf!

One of the independent organic brands stocked by Blomma Beauty is Husk & Seed. Karen talks us through a tutorial on how to use two of Husk & Seed’s products: the Husk & Seed Gently Nourishing Cleansing Balm and the Husk & Seed Hibiscus Oat and Apricot Powder Exfoliator.
The Husk & Seed Cleansing Balm is a beautiful blend of shea butter, mango butter, pumpkin seed oil, safflower, grapefruit, and lavender. This gentle, soothing concoction of ingredients within the balm is the perfect mix for gentle cleansing, and the ingredients make the product beautifully fragranced too.
The Husk & Seed Hibiscus Oat and Apricot Powder Exfoliator can be blended with the Cleansing Balm to create a lovely deep clean, by mixing the two together.
