Sharon is a regular at our Gym 'n' Juice sessions on Thursdays.

Sharon’s children have been attending sessions at Coin Street since they were young. Intrigued by their enthusiasm, Sharon decided to join Gym ‘n’ Juice when it first started. She became part of a supportive community that emphasised not just exercise but also ‘camaraderie,’ ‘commitment’ and ‘personal growth.’  

During the sessions, she usually follows a structured routine: warm-up exercises, weight training, core work, and then a refreshing juice as her ‘reward’. 
Sharon appreciates the flexibility of the program in adapting to individual needs, ensuring a personalised experience catering to their recent activities and medical conditions.

The sense of ‘friendship’ among participants motivates her to keep coming back. Since joining, Sharon has seen remarkable improvements in both her strength and stamina. She initially attended once a week but soon joined a circuit course, eventually increasing her gym sessions to nearly every day of the week. 

Her balance and confidence have improved significantly, and she also feels more capable and at ease in the gym environment, especially as a woman. Her newfound strength and stamina have positively affected her daily life.  

She quotes, “Exercise is the one thing no one can take from you… if you’ve accomplished it, you’ve done it for that day.” She plans to continue her ‘Gym ‘n’ Juice’ journey, making it a cornerstone for aging well. She believes that these gym sessions are her head start for a healthier and more fulfilling later life.
